The Student Academic Appeals Committee is responsible for considering and determining appeals from students, where the student disagrees with the outcome of a review hearing held in accordance with Regulation 17 (Academic Reviews and Appeals) and wishes further evidence or procedural irregularities to be considered

Four academic members of staff, two of which are members of a Faculty/School Board of Studies and two of which are members of the panels appointed by Faculties/Schools to serve on Review Sub-Committees.

The Committee will be convened as required in accordance with Section 17.12 of the Regulations.

The minutes of meetings of the Student Academic Appeals Committee are not published here because they contain information which the University has declared will not be routinely published under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
