Funding
Our financial support package
Our 2012 Financial Support Package is focused on fee waivers for UK and EU students from low income families. Fee waivers are awarded in the form of discounted fees.
We will use information from the UCAS and Student Finance Application to target fee waiver support at those who need it most.
We are also offering a targeted bursary scheme, we are maintaining a student hardship fund and our Student Funding Advisers will be available throughout your studies to help with budgeting and financial planning.
If you're not eligible for a fee waiver or bursary, you may be eligible for a scholarship.
Government support
Students are not going to be asked to pay up front for the cost of their courses. Loans will be made available by the Government to cover the cost of the fees and to offset living costs.
Graduates will repay the cost of their education only when they are employed and earning above £21,000.
Repayment rates on loans will be at 9% of salary over £21,000 and debt will be written off after 30 years.
Maintenance grants
Students will be eligible for maintenance loans and dependent on household income, a non-repayable maintenance grant from the Government.
