Why Bath?
My home university is an exchange partner of the University of Bath, and there is a dual-degree project offered by the two universities where you study at Shandong University for one year and at Bath for the other year.

I heard that, although its tradition does not go back as long as that of my home university, Bath is a great institution which has progressed immensely in the last few decades. Also the School of Management in Bath is in the top five management schools in the UK. which made me want to study here as part of my degree. So when I heard the about the opportunity to come here, I was very interested and decided to give it a try. I applied for this project, and eventually I was recommended by my university to be the first one to take this new programme.
Why your course?
When I was in China, I was interested in finance and got a degree in it, so I choose to continue my study further in Bath. After comparing Accounting & Finance to Economics & Finance, I choose the former for it is more practical and more related to my major. When I finish my study here, the first thing is to go back and finish the whole project.
What’s best about Bath?
I like people here. My classmates are amazing and friendly, all the professors are kind and knowledgeable, and they help me so much. Besides the academic, I just like the city. Bath is the most beautiful city I have been to in the U.K. No place impressed me as much as this small city andI have enjoyed every day I lived here- even walking from the bottom to the top of the hill to go to school is a pleasure. All the beautiful landscape and leisurely life style made me happy to live here.
