The Microscopy and Analysis Suite (MAS) is a central facility of the University of Bath managed by the Faculty of Science. The prime function of MAS is to provide microscopy and analysis equipment and expertise to support university research.
A range of equipment is available including:
- Electron microscopes
- Confocal laser scanning microscopes
- X-ray analysers
- A scanning probe microscope
- A flow cytometer
We provide training for undergraduates and postgraduates in all aspects of microscopy.
Other activities include workshops and conferences related to microscopy. Schools and interest groups are welcome to visit and demonstrations can be arranged. Our equipment and expertise is also available to industry for problem-solving and we welcome enquiries regarding consultancy work (see links).
